My life these past two months has been everything but great. It’s been a glass of wine kind of two months. With school, family, and my personal life going to bits there is little time to stray for a few moments and breath. No worries though, I’ve come to realize that everything is really on our control. When something is going wrong, it is up to us to make it right. There are some things however that can take forever to make right. Others, you might not even realize they are toxic until you feel yourself taking that last breath.
I was fortunate enough to escape the grasps of an emotionally abusive relationship. One with so much love
, I was blinded by it all. I did not see the pain and harm it caused me. But as you may be reading this right now I’ll say, it is never too late to pull yourself out of a dark place and start over new. Don’t allow all the wrong, all the pain, and everything else that’s toxic bury you alive. Just like there is always light at the end of a tunnel, there will always be a helping hand ready to pull you out of any grave, ready to save you. And when given that second chance to love, make the most if it. Learn from the mistakes you made in your past and never regret anything.
Everything we experience in life is there to help us grow into the human beings we chose to be. Whether we are 12, 19, or 56, there is so much life ahead of us to learn as much as we can along the way. And as you finish reading this remember, learn from everything, and regret nothing, we are only human.
